In this segment Teodrose Fikre, founder and editor of the Ghion Journal, discusses how in these times of converging crises, people need to move beyond decisive political discourse, and instead toward more empathetic, nuanced, and unifying forms of political discourse that can more adequately address the often ignored underlying trends currently playing out in our society. If we can't overcome these regressive, divisive, and distracting forms of communication, we will be unable to generate the insight and focus we collectively need to face the underlying economic, political, and social problems plaguing our society today.
